XUAN HE

Based in Toronto, Canada and Shenzhen, China, Chinese pianist Xuan He is an up-and-coming concert soloist and chamber musician. Xuan has performed in Austria, Canada, China, France, and toured nine states in the U. S.. She is a medalist of the 2017 Brevard Music Festival Solo Piano Competition, the 2016 Hong Kong International Piano Open Competition, and the 2016 Schubert Club Scholarship Competition. Xuan holds a Bachelor of Music degree from St. Olaf College, Minnesota, where she studied with Kent McWilliams and completed a semester abroad in Vienna with Jan Jiracek von Arnim from Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. In 2018, she graduated from her Master of Music degree at the University of Toronto under the tutelage of Lydia Wong. She is looking forward to continuing her education at the McGill University with Ilya Poletaev this fall.
