Dr. Elena Zamolodchikova received degrees from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, the Juilliard School, and Stony Brook University. Her piano professors, among others, were Valery Pyasetsky, Vasily Ermakov, Natalia Trull, and Yury Martynov. She participated in numerous concerts in Russia, the United States, Italy, Germany, and Norway, including solo performances and multi-instrument collaborations with such prominent early music specialists as William Christie, Christopher Hogwood, Monica Huggett, and Pierre Hantai. She played at the Maliy and Rachmaninoff Halls of the Moscow Conservatory, Ostankino Palace in Moscow, Alice Tully Hall and Peter Jay Sharp Theater in New York City and many others. She participated in the first concert performance of the opera Le Devine Du Village by J. J. Rousseau in Moscow and at the first Zuckermann Harpsichords Music Festival. She regularly performs at the Stonington Sounds Music Festival and at many different venues as a harpsichordist and pianist.
