Davy was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. He started playing piano at the age of 6, and has previously studied under the guidance of Ms. Prudence Leung, Dr. Boris Konovalov, and Dr. Corey Hamm. At the ages of 12 and 14 respectively, he attained his Associate Diploma in Piano Performance with distinction, followed by his Licentiate Diploma, from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada. Davy has also competed at the national and international levels: he was a semifinalist at the USASU Jr. Yamaha International Piano Competition in 2015, and was 2nd at the national finals of the Canadian Music Competition in 2011 and 2015. Outside of competitions, Davy has taught students in piano, as well as performed at solo recitals and charity concerts. Currently, Davy is studying at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Having completed three years of an undergraduate degree in Cellular, Anatomical, and Physiological Sciences, he is entering medical school at UBC this Fall.
