ARTHUR WANG

Arthur Wang began studying piano at age six. He is a rising junior at the Juilliard School, studying with Professor Jerome Lowenthal. Competing locally, regionally and internationally, Arthur has gained numerous awards, including prizes at the Hilton Head International Piano Competition for Young Artists, the Bösendorfer and Yamaha USASU International Piano Competition, the Enschede International Piano Competition for Young Musicians, and the Midwest International Piano Competition. Most recently, he was awarded second prize and was the youngest finalist at the 2019 Young Concert Artists International Auditions. Arthur has performed in venues such as Merkin Concert Hall, Wilmersberg Zaal (Netherlands), Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center, Queen Elizabeth Theater (Vancouver), Chan Centre for the Performing Arts (British Columbia), and Vancouver Playhouse. He was named in CBC Music’s 2017 edition list of “30 hot Canadian classical musicians under 30.”
