Anibal Ernesto Gómez Gómez was born in 1986 in Bogotá, Colombia. He studied piano with Vera Perez (1994-2002). In 2003 he began his studies of Music at “Universidad de los Andes” with Ignacio Pacheco and Antonio Carbonell. He got his BM with emphasis in Piano Performance from Universidad de los Andes. In 2017 he got his Master’s degree in music with emphasis in Piano Performance from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana with Sergei Schikov. In 2011, he was among the three finalists as soloist in the XVI National Piano Competition in Bucaramanga, Colombia, within the framework of the XXVIII International Piano Festival. Since 2015 through 2018, he was invited to perform a great number of solo piano concerts at the UIS International Piano Festival in Bucaramanga. He has regularly performed solo concerts at Universidad de los Andes, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Universidad de Santo Tomás, Uniandinos Auditorium as well as the Teresa Cuervo Borda Auditorium.
