ALESSANDRO ANDRADE DA FONSECA

Alessandro Andrade Da Fonseca started his piano studies in Brazil when he was 10 years old. Later on, he finished his Undergraduate course at the Minas Gerais State University. Afterwards, he concluded his Master’s in Piano Performance under the guidance of professor Alexandre Dossin, at the University of Oregon and also received the Outstanding Graduate Student Keyboard Player award. Currently he is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance at the University of Oregon under the guidance of Alexandre Dossin. He is also finishing a second Master’ degree in
Collaborative Piano. At University of Oregon, he is also a Graduate Teaching Fellow working as a collaborative pianist and teaching lessons. He has won several prizes in piano competitions in South America and also international prizes. Currently living in Eugene, he maintains an active career performing solo and chamber music.
