ADRIAN QUESADA

Adrian Quesada holds a Master’s degree in piano performance from FIU, where he studied with Kemal Gekic and was a Teacher Assistant. Later on, he became adjunct instructor and accompanist for instrumentalists and choirs. He is a faculty member of the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan. He has performed as a soloist with the Coral Gables Chamber Symphony for WLRN, with the South Florida Youth
Symphony and with the FIU Symphony Orchestra (2nd Prize winner). He has been guest performer with the Atlantic Classical Orchestra (Maestro Stewart Robertson) and the National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica (Maestro Irvin Hoffmann).
He has attended masterclasses with Yakov Kasman, Pia Sebastiani, Gary Hammond and composer Tania Leon, and participated in Sewanee Summer Festival.
He has collaborated with bassists Jeff Bradetich and Eugene Levinson, and has been appointed pianist in residence for the Miami Bass institute. He has recently released his first CD titled Romanza including works by Méhul, Beethoven, Debussy among others, and performed for the President of Costa Rica Luis Guillermo Solís.
