AARON KURZ

Born in Dallas, American pianist Aaron Kurz began his studies at the age of three. Over the course of his career, he has performed across North America, Europe, and Asia, in venues ranging from Carnegie Hall to the Palace of Peace and Harmony in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. Aaron has soloed with numerous orchestras, including the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Shanxi Shuozilun Symphony (China), and New Millennium Orchestra (Chicago). He has also been a prizewinner in many competitions, such as the New York, Los Angeles, and Virginia Waring International Piano Competitions. In recent years, Aaron traveled to China, where he lectured, taught a masterclass, and performed both solo and with orchestra. Currently, Aaron is completing his Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music, studying with Ian Jones and Norma Fisher. He holds a Master’s from the Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor’s from the University of Michigan, where he studied with Alexander Kobrin and Logan Skelton, respectively.
