GIOVANNI BERTOLAZZI

Born in Verona in 1998, Giovanni Bertolazzi began his piano studies at the age of ten. He is currently a student of Maestro Epifanio Comis at the Conservatory of Music “Vincenzo Bellini” in Catania. He won several prizes in national and international piano competitions, including 1st Prize at the “Siegfried Weishaupt” Piano Competition in Ochsenhausen (2017), 1st Prize at the “Sigismund Thalberg” International Piano Competition in Naples (2018) and 4th Prize at the “Ferruccio Busoni” International Piano Competition in Bolzano (2019). He has performed many concerts in Italy and abroad: Teatro Malibran and Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro Politeama Garibaldi in Palermo, Stadthalle Troisdorf, Landesmusikakademie in Ochsenhausen, Kadrioru Kunstimuuseum in Tallinn, Rose Wagner Performing Center Arts in Salt Lake City. He has performed with several orchestras in Italy, including Orchestra Filarmonica della Fenice and Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana.
