ENDA SUPARMAN

Enda Suparman, started piano at four and by thirteen was accepted into a prestigious music conservatory, studying under M. Ismail; a well-known Dutch pianist. For three consecutive years she was chosen to represent her school for a national young pianist competition and won 1st place each time, and performed at Dutch & Czech Embassies. At 16, she started teaching autistic kids at the Kawai Music School, while studying under S. Sutikno; a celebrated Indonesian pianist with acclaims in Europe. At 19 years, she moved to Vancouver to complete her bachelor’s in music at Capilano
University. She has won gold (ARCT comp.04), bronze and silver (BCCM comp.04) medals, and was the pianist for Golden Keys Orchestra (SFU). Since graduating, she is regularly requested for consulate events for the Indonesian Ambassador galas (07-14). When visiting Jakarta, she is a special guest as a juror for Kompetisi Pianis Cilik competitions. Enda’s private studio has produced talented young Canadian pianists performing at the ARCT level.
